We’re excited to announce that Carol Meyer has joined our team of volunteers as HopeRaiser Coordinator. HopeRaisers play a key role in raising funds and support to sponsor solar radios for families in Haiti—and Carol’s here to help other HopeRaisers with advice and resources to reach fundraising goals, get radios sponsored and send hope across Haiti.
Before going to Haiti on a mission trip, Carol couldn’t fathom how a simple, solar radio, fix-tuned to Christian radio station Radio 4VEH, could make a difference in a Haitian’s life. What she discovered in Haiti changed her life.
God laid a burden on Carol’s heart for the radio station, and she told God that she would do whatever she could to help supply more radios. She wanted to help provide solar radios to families so that they could hear daily that God loves them. So Carol signed up as our first HopeRaiser, created her own personalized Resounding Hope online fundraising page and began sharing her passion to get more radios to Haiti. And now she’s here to help other HopeRaisers too.
